Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action adventure based on Batman comics.

The player controls Batman as he fights crime on Arkham Island. The main villain, the Joker, frees the criminals who were kept in the hospital, and with their help takes over the whole of Arkham. Batman will have to deal with the problem using his excellent hand-to-hand combat skills and other superpowers.

In addition to exciting fights in which Batman uses various combo strikes, the main character will solve puzzles and conduct investigations. The gameplay also involves the use of hidden movement and observation of the actions of criminals (stealth). In some cases (a large number of opponents), stealth is the only way to solve the task.
