Dota 2 Reborn is a multiplayer online team game in the genre of strategy with elements of a role-playing game. In fact, this is the same Dota 2, transferred in 2015 to the new Source 2 engine. The system requirements have increased slightly, but the game has become more attractive.

Two teams of five players take part in the game. One team plays for the light side, the other for the dark side. Each team has its own city on the map.

Each player controls one character who can gain experience and level up their skills, earn gold, buy and collect items, and more. Each player constantly receives a small amount of gold from their city, and also earns gold for killing enemy creatures.

The victory condition is to destroy the main building in the enemy city.
