Final Fantasy XVI is a single-player third-person role-playing action game.

The game takes place in a fictional fantasy world ruled by magical creatures. The player takes on the role of a warrior with magical powers. Accompanied by his friends (controlled by artificial intelligence), he travels through the game world and tries to take revenge on a powerful demon.

The gameplay involves exploring locations and fighting enemies with the help of cold steel and magic. You can travel both on foot and on large riding birds. The protagonist also has his own shelter, where he can get useful information, buy potions, weapons and other equipment, improve them, get additional tasks, etc.
