Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a computer game from the third person in the action-adventure genre with elements of psychological horror.

The events take place in a fictional fantasy world made in the spirit of the gloomy Middle Ages. The plot is based on Scandinavian mythology. The main character is a girl named Senua. She enters the world of the dead to save the soul of her fallen lover. The girl suffers from a mental disorder and, in addition to various monsters, she will have to fight with the manifestations of her own psychosis.

The gameplay includes both sword fights and various challenges (puzzles, riddles). A feature of the game is the use of special sounds that create a realistic effect of voice hallucinations.
