Hunt: Showdown - is a multiplayer first-person shooter with elements of survival and horror.

The events take place at the end of the 19th century in the USA. The player acts as a professional hunter. For a reward, he destroys monsters that have appeared in local swamps. The task is considered completed if the player returns alive to the customer with evidence of the murder. The money and experience received for the completed task can be used to develop the character and improve the game profile.

At the beginning of the game, the player receives a character with low combat performance. During the game, the character develops in the above way. At the same time, the dead fighter disappears from the game forever along with all the weapons and bonuses earned.

In addition to fighting monsters, an important role in the game is played by competition with other players who are constantly trying to intercept profitable contracts.
