Risen - is a third-person role-playing game in a medieval fantasy world.

As a result of a shipwreck, the main character and a woman named Sarah end up on an island inhabited by people and various monsters. Strange earthquakes occur on the island, ruins of ancient temples suddenly appear. The world is in danger and only the main character can stop it all.

The game world consists of locations open for free exploration. The hero can use a variety of armor, melee weapons, bows, and magic. During the game, he gains experience that can be used to improve his basic skills. There is also the possibility of improving armor and weapons.
