World in Conflict - is a computer game in the genre of strategy in real time.

The events take place in 1989 in an alternate reality, in which the USSR started the Third World War against a number of capitalist countries. The player plays the role of a US Army officer who leads a combat unit. He has to take part in combat operations in several locations: Marseille, the West Coast of the USA, Murmansk.

The player is not engaged in creating a base or mining resources. He is given a certain number of points, which can be used to purchase soldiers and equipment. If a combat unit is destroyed, the points spent on its purchase are returned to the player's account.
